Well back at last to the land of the flat mountains, aka central iowa. It feels good to be back yet oh so bad. It has been a busy couple of days since I came back. Overall the trip was a blast. Had a great time, rode some sweet ass trails and went to a very entertaining bar. I really enjoyed all of the riding that we did out there and would definately recommend it to anyone looking for some epic rides. I felt that Fruita and the Kokapelli Trail were the best riding but that is a personal preference, just get off the computer and go ride out west for yourself. Since pictures speak louder than words for me, here are just a few that I got. Enjoy!
Hopefully you enjoyed living through those photos. I definately will until I get out there. On a side note, all though the trip was amazing there were definately bumps and bruises along the way. For starters, lost keys to truck on the first day, spent that whole ride looking for them. Fun in a desert mountain trail! Next was sick that night, ended up sleeping instead of enjoying the night life. Third, got a monster tear in my left rear tire, spent all night sunday and most of monday morning trying to find a place in Grand Junction that carried my tires. Four places visited, Walmart finally fixed by providing two rear tires at a measly 300 dollars. CRAP! Last but definately not the least of all the troubles, arrived at Ogara's house on Tuesday morning only to find that he had been robbed and lots or quality, hard to come by bike parts were missing. Dirt bags be ware, don't mess OGARA! Hopefully all that gets better and the bastard is found and kicked in the nuts. Well that is about it for the rant and raving about the trip. Hopefully I can get off of the couch at some point now and go ride my bicycle. ALL OUT!!
