Sounds like the forecast for a nice spring day or even early summer. Oh wait though it is November 8th and it was absolutely beautiful outside. It was so nice, I decided to spend it with some fellow Decorah mates and headed over to Yellow River Forest. 5 hours after leaving home, I came back with the biggest smile on my face because I had an amazing day riding mountain bike. The leaves hide alot of the tricky spots, mud bogs popped out every once in a while but all that is aside because you get a rare opportunity to ride in weather such as this. Overall it was a pretty laid back day of riding, putting in effort when needed to climb the monsterous hills that are at Yellow River. Some pictures to satisfy appetite

The Smile says it all!!!

Usually in November we wouldn't have dared. Actually was quite refreshing!

Me having a little fun! Little do you know I tasted those leaves on the ground under my front tire less than a minute earlier. This time it was clear sailing without a 3 inch wide branch in my face on the other side!
So the pics say exactly why we had such a great time. If you didn't get out and enjoy the day you have no clue what you were missing. Happy Trails. All from me! OUT!!
P.S. - On a depressing not, Hawks lost but still in the hunt. Beat up those Buckeyes. They are weak and you are strong! GO HAWKS!!!!
