Well today was a very satisfying end to a very long week and I still have yet to complete the day. With the past few days of glorious weather and my inability to take advantage of these days because of my many working talents, I finally was able to get out and ride the trails of Decorah, and ride I did. This morning (Friday), I was able to get on the trails for about 2+ hours, riding everything that the Decorah Parks has to offer. It wasn't easy to say the least with the spring time conditions in full effect and the Louisiana Mud Boggs out in full force, I was challenged to push harder in sections than I have ever had to. Even with the extra effort needed, I had a awesome beginning to my Friday. I also am realizing that me getting on the trails came just soon enough because as I sit here writing this, I am looking out the window at the evil flakes of white disaster. Snow is falling, hopefully not staying. I guess I will take a little snow over rain as the trails don't need that type of moisture. Looking forward to my next ride and getting ready for my long season that is ahead! That is about it! OUT!
