IAHPERD State Convention Weekend in Iowa City

This weekend was the Iowa Association for Heath, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. Overall it was a good weekend. I enjoyed seeing my former profs. speak. Brian Solberg, Ellen Drewes-Stoen, and Jacki Wright all did an excellent job in their presentations. All of the other presenters did an excellent job as well. I got some good ideas out of some of the sessions, some I did not get anything out of. Some of the none convention related highlights involved drinking every night with my good friend Karen, watching the Hawks play on Saturday at the Brother's Bar in downtown Iowa City (in the middle of the convention), and winning a Bean Bag Toss Game (oh yeah that was at the convention). These weekends are just about the only thing that is keeping me sane in this twirling,spiraling out of control life that I am living. I guess it is time to get back to the work week. One Plus elections are Tuesday, which means no more commercials, THANK GOD!!!!!!!!! That's it for me, OUT!
