Deep breath in.........Deep breath out........... Deep breath in...........Deep breath out
It is about time I get just a little time to relax. It couldn't have come at a better time. Well since last time I posted, the trails have not disappointed me in the least. They have been buff and ripping fast, at least until today when the sky's decided to open up finally and dump a ton or rain in a short amount of time. That is okay, everything was a little parched from the near record temps that were rolling in the area. I definitely haven't minded that in the least. My life has not gotten any less tense as of late. This is my first day that I haven't worked for at least 13 hours in almost 2 weeks. I am settling into my daily routine of working either at Trinity or St. Ben's and then heading off to either Sears or Turkey Valley for Driver's Ed. Thursdays have definitely been kicking my butt since I go into work at 6:00 a.m. at Turkey to drive with the kids, head over to Trinity for the normal school day, and then head back to Turkey for some more driving till about 9 p.m. Nothing like a 15 hour workday to kick your butt. Oh well my summer looks far better now without Driver's Ed. I have been able to fit in a ride for at least 2 hours Monday, Wednesday, and Friday as well as on Saturday and Sunday when I can. It is great that I can ride that much and I am feeling good about where my fitness is right now. Race season is a go next weekend and really looking forward to it as I head to Sylvan Island in the Quad Cities. Hopefully the trails down south are in as good of shape as up here. An update on Bailey, she is now back to her old self after a go under the knife for a spaying. She was quite doped up on Wednesday into Thursday morning. Didn't see her much on those days as she spent time at my parents while I work my hellish day. Finally went and got her around 2 p.m. today and she is definitely very energetic again. I am glad that everything went smooth. She is growing by the day and still very cute. Well I will post pics of Bailey later. I have to work for 2 hours tonight and 7 hours tomorrow then Sunday off. That is about it. OUT!
